Q: Who is the owner of The Parking Shop?
A: The Parking Shop is privately owned and was founded in 1993 by David Peach and is a totally independent limited company.
Q: I’ve had a payment come off my credit card and my bank says to contact you
A: We accept credit card payments for good purchased by telephone. However, it may be that you have had a Parking Ticket or other fine in which case you should contact your local authority parking team.
Q: I’ve just moved to the area and want to apply for a parking permit.
A: For individual Parking Permits you should apply directly to your local authority. To find the address or telephone number take a look at Directgov.
Q: We would like to rent a parking space from you. How do we go about it?
A: Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate you. We only have a small staff car park.
Q: Do you get commission for recommending certain products?
A: No, we do not work on a commission basis. We provide impartial advice and we insist on implementing the best solution for the client.
Q: Why do I have to pay set up charges on print orders even though I am your existing customer?
A: Print set up charges are not administrative charges. They cover the cost of producing customised print plates that will be unique to your order.
Q: What's the difference between a PCN wallet (Parking Charge Notice) and a PNE wallet (Parking Notice Enclosed)?
A: A PCN is issued by councils/local authorities and a PNE is issued by private operators.
